Location: Knoxville, TN

Completion: March 2026

The project consisted of the complete interior renovation of approximately 11,700 square feet on the second floor of the building occupied by the Institute of Public Service at the University of Tennessee.

All existing interior walls and ceilings were removed to allow for a reconfiguration of the space. The HVAC duct system was modified to accommodate the new layout. New interior gypsum board walls and glass demountable partition systems were installed to create the updated office configuration. New acoustical ceiling systems and HVAC grilles were also installed throughout the space.

A new lighting package was installed, including an internet-based lighting control system. The fire alarm system was upgraded to meet current code requirements.

Existing carpet was salvaged and reinstalled in a large portion of the space where feasible. In areas where reuse was not possible, new carpet was installed. New tile flooring and walls were installed in the restrooms, along with new vinyl flooring in the breakroom.

A new breakroom was constructed featuring base and wall cabinets, as well as an island with a waterfall-edge countertop.
